Whispers of Strenght: A Poem

I write songs, mostly. It's kind of hard to put the lyrics down in a blog, though, because lyrics without music is just a poem. It got me thinking, maybe I should try writing a poem? So yeah, that's what I did. It's a bit long so bear with me ... Here it goes:

In the hidden chambers of a restless mind

Lies a world unseen, complexities entwined

A puzzle of thoughts, intricate and vast

A journey within, a spectrum unsurpassed

Within the tapestry of a soul's embrace

Whispers of shadows find a sacred space

Emotions run deep, like rivers that flow

A silent symphony, only the heart can know

In the labyrinth of the mind's terrain

The ebb and flow of joy and pain

A dance of light and shade, victor undefined

A fragile balance, a delicate bind

Through the veils of time, a subtle veil

A subtle longing, a whispered tale

A quiet strength, resilience unspoken

In the face of adversity, spirits unbroken

In tender moments, connections formed

Healing fragments of a soul, transformed

In gentle touch and understanding gaze

A narrow refuge where healing finds its ways

So let us tread softly on this sacred ground

Where stories unfold without a sound 

In the depths of empathy, a bridge we'll find

To honor the journeys of heart and mind

For within each person's intricate rhyme

Lies the beauty of the human design

In compassion's embrace, we'll stand tall

Celebrating the complexities of us all
